After the Phantom Ranger appeared in the cave and caused the freeze key to vanish, time was restored to its normal flow. Before Divatox could stop him, he touched the key, causing time to stop, with Divatox and the freeze key suspended in time as well. However, he got curious and approached the Key. When the villains arrived, Clockster came to the key. Dimitria told the rangers about plans of Divatox. Divatox's real plan was to send the key to Earth and time would freeze. After Divatox rescued her Freeze Key, Clockster accompanied her and Elgar to the surface for guard duty. He stopped the clock when the ambush by the Rangers happened and he left. He went to Angel Grove and wound time faster and then backwards multiple times.

Divatox sent Clockster to restore the Freeze Key. Divatox wanted to freeze the sun and conquer the Earth in the darkness. She used him to rewind time in order to restore her Freeze Key, which was shattered by the Turbine Laser. Clockster was a time manipulating monster who was first seen introducing himself to Divatox after Porto apparently hired him.
